Where do I find my billing and team settings now?

Locize now has organizations: your team, your projects and your billing in one place. If you were with us before that, a few things moved out of the project and up to the organization. Nothing was lost, and your invoice stayed the same or got cheaper. This page says where everything is.

Your organization sits on the dashboard next to your projects. Organization projects no longer carry their own BILLING tab: everything it held is on the organization now, and the tabs below say where.

Projects that have not been moved to an organization yet keep everything where it was; the tables below apply from the moment yours is moved.

"Collective billing" is gone, where is it?

It became the organization. Before, you added a project to another project's bill. Now every project of your organization simply joins the organization's subscription when it subscribes: one invoice for everything, and each project keeps its own plan. Your existing billing group was converted automatically, with the same projects on the same invoice.

Why is a colleague suddenly a "manager" instead of an "admin"?

Admin and accountant are organization roles now, and they reach every project of the organization. Project permissions top out at manager.

When your billing group became an organization, the admins of the paying project became organization admins, accountants became organization accountants, and additional project-level admin permissions became manager permissions. Nobody lost access to a project they had. If someone should run the whole organization again, open the organization page and give them the admin role there.

Someone on my team has a "via organization" badge, what does that mean?

They are a member of your organization and inherit access to every project of it. You can still give them a different role on a single project (override), take them out of one project (block), or return them to the organization role (inherit). People who only exist on one project, typically external translators or agency contacts, show no badge.

I need a separate invoice for one project

An organization always has exactly one subscription, one payment method and one invoice, so a second invoice means a second organization. Give that department, product or cost center its own organization: choose "+ create a new organization" when you add the project, or move an existing one across with a handover (you generate a code on the project, an admin of the receiving organization enters it there). Every subscription belongs to exactly one organization, so each one keeps its own members, its own billing details and its own invoice.

Did my price change?

Your invoice stayed the same or got cheaper:

  • SAML SSO is now charged once per subscription instead of once per project.
  • Tenants are billed with their parent project and are included in your plan.
  • The Growth plan now includes unlimited users.

I am an accountant and I do not see any projects

That is intended: an accountant sees billing, not translation content. Open your organization from your profile page; the Billing and Metrics tabs are yours.

Who can see the organization page?

Organization admins and accountants. Admins manage members, projects and billing; accountants see the billing side only.
